TARAS SHEVCHENKO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF KIEV
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was one of the top three universities in USSR. In Ukraine it is the third oldest university and ranked one of the best Universities in Ukraine. Colloquially ‘ KNU ‘ (Kiev National University) as said in Ukraine, is a University located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. It is ranked within the top 550 universities in the world. At the university more than 26 thousand students study . 935 foreign students are at present enrolled at the University .
Kyiv Medical established in 1992 is one of the leading Medical Universities of Ukraine. Though the medical stream itself, at the University is not very old, the University prides itself in establishing a teaching and clinical base along with the introduction of latest technology. The distinguished faculty at the University consists of honored doctors of Ukraine, well-known scholars having Ph.D., Masters etc. with around 350 highly skilled teachers training the students.
The University provides skills, required knowledge & practical exposure to students to achieve the demands of health-care industry. KMU has a perfectly balanced curriculum meeting the requirements of Ministry of Health and Education of Ukraine, with the Industry exposure provided to students through offshore internships.

Economics, History, Geography Cybernetics, , Sociology, Information Technology, Radio Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics Electronics and Computer Systems, , Physics Psychology, Law ,Philosophy, Chemistry. There are 2 Colleges (Optical and Mechanical College, Geological Exploring College), 1 Training and Research Center (the Institute of Biology), and 8 Institutes (the Military Academy, the High Technology Centre, the Institute of Journalism, the Institute of Geology, the Institute of International Relations, the Postgraduate Education Centre, the Institute of Linguistics, and the State Security Department).
Other facilities includes:
a Geological and Zoological Museum , an Astronomical Observatory , Ukrainian Studies Centre, the Maksymovych Academic Library, an Informatics Centre, a Museum of the University History, an Interfaculty Museum of Linguistics, , a publishing and reprographics unit called “Kyiv University”.
Student accommodation is very comfortable and is provided by the campus. Campus also includes: cafeterias, sports facilities, computer clubs, dance halls and sports facilities.

In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (KNU), the student should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCB in Class 12th along with a qualifying score in NEET. The age criteria for admission to MBBS at KNU is 17 years.
