Medical University of Silesia is one of the largest medical universities in the country and the largest in the Silesian voivodeship. In the walls of this University many generations of students obtained knowledge and education, including some Polish medicine icons.
This University is at the forefront of universities using virtual teaching and medical simulation. The students can choose between three Centres of Medical Simulation, which were created thanks to financial support provided by the European Union. The students have at their disposal numerous simulation rooms of high fidelity, including: intensive care rooms, operating rooms or labour rooms.

Since 1948, Medical University of Silesia has been ensuring a high quality education process for specialists of all medical programmes – offering intramural and extramural studies for Ist and IInd degrees. Future students of the University are able to choose between 18 programmes of study at 5 Faculties, among others: medical analytics, neurobiology, medicine, nursing, electro radiology or public health.
